JODI: Russia keeps world 2nd largest oil producer position in June
MOSCOW, Aug 20 (PRIME) -- Russia maintained its position of the world’s second largest oil producer after the U.S. in June, when its output fell by 15,000 barrels per day, or by 0.17%, on the month to 8.376 million barrels per day, the Joint Organizations Data Initiative (JODI) said in a report on Thursday.
The U.S. produced 10.897 million barrels per day, up 9%. Saudi Arabia decreased its output by 11.8% to 7.484 million barrels per day.
